Live Forever!
There's a biography television show that uses the slogan, "Every life has a story." It's true! Every life does have a story. Your life can be an everlasting story of God's goodness, and it is all yours for the taking. That's the "good news" of the gospel.
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
"Behold, the Lord's hand is not so short that it cannot save; Neither is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear." (Isaiah 59:1-2)
"For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23a)
"It is appointed to men to die once, and after that comes judgment." (Hebrews 9:27)
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
"For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit." (1 Peter 3:18)
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name." (John 1:12)
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." (John 5:24)
If you would like to receive Christ as your Savior, why not do it right now? Tell God that you understand that sin has caused a separation from Him, and that you accept Christ's death on the cross as the payment for your sin. Thank Him for sending His own Son to pay the penalty for your sin, and ask Him to help you grow in your new relationship with Him through Jesus Christ.
If you have made the choice to accept the free gift of eternal life, welcome to God's family! Now you need the love and support of a good church that can help you grow in your relationship with God, and live the abundant life He wants you to have. If you're in the Oak Ridge area, we'd love to have you become a part of our church family. If not, why don't you contact us and let us help you find a good church near your home?
